Manuscripts published in Ecos de la Academia must disclose, where applicable, information related to funding, conflicts of interest, ethical approval, acknowledgements, and open science objects.

Funding

Authors must specify the funding sources of the research from which the article derives, including the name of the funding agency, institution, or individual, the project title, the project code or identifier, and the year of execution. If the research did not receive funding, this must be explicitly stated.

Conflict of interest statement

Each author must declare whether there are any conflicts of interest related to the manuscript, the authors, the journal, the publishing institution, participating institutions, or funding entities. If there are no conflicts of interest, this must be explicitly stated: “The author declares no conflict of interest”.

Ethical approval

When the research involves human participants, animals, sensitive data, educational institutions, communities, or any procedure requiring ethical review, authors must indicate the name of the approving ethics committee, the approval code, and the date of issue. If the nature of the study does not require ethical approval, this must be explicitly stated.

Acknowledgements

Authors may acknowledge individuals, institutions, or entities that contributed to the development of the article through technical, operational, academic, or financial support. When specific individuals are mentioned, authors must ensure that they have obtained permission to use their names.

Open science objects

When open science objects associated with the manuscript are available, authors must disclose them with complete citation information and a permanent link, preferably through a DOI or recognized academic repositories.

• Data management plan: indicate the DOI, persistent URL, or repository where it is available.
• Research protocol: state whether the protocol was registered on an open platform such as OSF or another academic repository.
• Systematic review protocol: indicate the corresponding registration, where applicable, through a DOI, persistent URL, or registration platform.
• Dataset: disclose the dataset in repositories such as Mendeley Data , OSF, Zenodo, Figshare, or other recognized repositories.
• Other associated objects: software, instruments, supplementary materials, related articles, documentary databases, analysis code, or other resources needed to support transparency and reproducibility of the study.
