Citation and reference guidelines

Articles submitted to Ecos de la Academia must follow the in-text citation and reference guidelines established by the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th edition, in accordance with current international standards for scholarly communication.

Whenever possible, authors must cite the digital version of the documents consulted and include the corresponding DOI. When a DOI is not available, a valid, verifiable, and stable URL should be provided, where appropriate.

Authors are solely responsible for the accuracy, relevance, currency, and existence of each reference cited in the manuscript. Once the article has been accepted or published, no additions to the reference list will be accepted, unless expressly requested by the editorial team.
