The journal accepts submissions within the following categories: research articles, review articles, academic essays, technical notes, book reviews, and editorial notes.

Research Articles

These present original results derived from a scientific research process. It is recommended that the manuscript include the following sections: title, authors with institutional affiliation, location (city, state/province, country), email address, abstract in Spanish and English, keywords in both languages, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion (following the IMRaD structure), conclusions, acknowledgements, references, tables, and figures.

Review Articles

These are systematic or narrative reviews that critically and reflectively address a specific scientific topic. They must analyze, contrast, and discuss the findings of at least 20 previously published academic articles. A recommended structure includes: introduction with theoretical background, development based on the author’s criteria and analysis, discussion of the reviewed contributions, conclusions, and references.

Review articles must be between 5,000 and 9,000 words, including references. In exceptional and well-justified cases, longer articles may be considered.

Essays

Scientific and reflective texts that present the author’s ideas, supported by solid arguments and relevant literature. Essays must offer grounded conclusions that provide new perspectives and serve as a basis for future research.

Manuscripts should range from 2,000 to 3,000 words, including references.

Technical Notes

These describe the status of a technical problem, the application of a specific solution, or progress in ongoing research. The suggested structure includes: introduction, development, conclusions, and references.

The manuscript length should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words, including references.

Book Reviews

These are critical analyses of one or more scientific works published within the last five years, unless they are foundational classics. The review should highlight the relevance, contributions, and current significance of the work in relation to a specific research topic.

The manuscript should be 2,000 to 3,000 words, including references.

Editorial Notes
