Privacy Statement

Names, email addresses, and other data provided to Ecos de la Academia will be used exclusively for the journal’s editorial, scientific, and administrative purposes and not for advertising or marketing unrelated to its objectives.

Data relating to authors, reviewers, and editors will be handled with the necessary confidentiality throughout the editorial process. The identities of authors and reviewers will be protected in accordance with the journal’s double-blind peer review model.

Authors must anonymise sensitive or identifiable data included in manuscripts and obtain the corresponding consent, assent, and authorisations when required.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with Ecuador’s Organic Law on Personal Data Protection and the applicable institutional provisions of the Universidad Técnica del Norte .
