Manuscript Information and Declarations

Contribution Statement

Document type: research article; review article; case report; or short communication.

Funding

Authors must specify the sources of funding for the research, including the project title, funding agency, institution or individual, code or identifier, and year. When no funding exists, this must be expressly declared.

Keywords: correct terminology should be used.

Each author must declare any personal, academic, institutional, employment, professional or financial relationship that could influence, or be perceived as capable of influencing, the manuscript or its interpretation. When no conflict exists, this must be expressly declared.

Ethical Approval or Certification

Where applicable, the name of the ethics committee, institution, approval code or number, and date must be indicated. If the nature of the study does not require ethical approval, this must be expressly stated and briefly justified. Informed consent does not replace ethical certification or approval when such approval is required.

Data Availability

All research papers must include a data availability statement. It must indicate whether the data are deposited in a permanent public repository with a link and persistent identifier; whether they may be obtained upon reasonable request and under what conditions; whether ethical, legal, institutional or privacy restrictions apply; or whether the study generated or analysed no datasets suitable for public availability.

Open Science Objects

When open science objects are associated with the manuscript, authors must identify, for each object, its own title, different from the article title; resource type; repository; version; license or access conditions; and link or persistent identifier, when available.

Objects necessary to evaluate the methods or results must be available before peer review begins, in accordance with the Data Sharing, Reproducibility and Open Science Policy and the justified exceptions established therein.

Acknowledgements

Authors may acknowledge individuals or entities that contributed technical, operational, academic or financial resources without meeting authorship criteria. When an individual is identified by name, their permission to be mentioned must be obtained.

Article History

The Received, Revised, Accepted and Published fields are for the exclusive use of the editorial team and must not be completed by authors.
