Editorial Governance, Independence and Transparency
Universidad Técnica del Norte is the publishing and funding institution of the journal. Decisions concerning submission, evaluation, acceptance, correction or retraction are the responsibility of the editorial structure of Ecos de la Academia and must be based on academic, methodological and ethical criteria, independently of institutional, financial or personal interests.
The journal openly publishes and keeps up to date the composition of its Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Committee, Scientific Committee and editorial support team. For each member, depending on availability and role, the journal will provide their full name, institutional affiliation, country, ORCID or another verifiable academic profile. The journal will promote institutional and geographical diversity and avoid concentrations that could compromise editorial independence or plurality.
