Systematic Review of University Teaching Strategies in Veterinary Medicine Post-Pandemic
Main Article Content
Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic radically transformed veterinary education, driving a rapid shift to virtual learning and the integration of new technologies. This systematic review, based on articles from Scopus and Google Scholar (2020–2024) and following the PRISMA methodology, analyzed 10 studies focused on post-pandemic pedagogical adaptations. Findings highlight that hybrid learning models, digital resources, and flexible learning options have been essential for educational continuity. While students still prefer in-person classes, they appreciate access to recorded materials and the use of technology during lectures. Among the most effective innovative strategies were gamification, simulations, and collaborative content creation, all of which enhanced active learning and knowledge retention. The review concludes that balancing traditional methods with modern approaches fosters a more dynamic, engaging learning experience that aligns with the expectations of new generations of students.
