Abstract
De acuerdo con el objetivo cuarto del Plan Nacional del Buen Vivir que manifiesta “Fortalecer las capacidades y potencialidades de la ciudadanía”, el propósito del presente proyecto de investigación “Muros que hablan. Un recorrido por los graffitis de Imbabura” es fotografiar, describir, analizar, diseñar, diagramar, publicitar y publicar en un libro, las mejores manifestaciones del arte del graffiti situadas en la provincia de Imbabura, que forman parte de nuestro entorno visual cotidiano. Dirigido por el PhD. Albert Arnavat el grupo de investigación está formado por los docentes de la Universidad Técnica del Norte Mgs. Claudia Ruiz y Vinicio Echeverría, junto con la Lic. Mariuxi Yépez y la colaboración de decenas de alumnos de la carrera de Diseño y Publicidad, convertidos en un escuadrón de fotógrafos, a la búsqueda y captura de todos los graffitis de la zona.
