Asertividad y desempeño académico en estudiantes universitarios

Abstract
La presente investigaci.n tiene como objetivo analizar la relaci.n existente entre la asertividad y el rendimiento
acad.mico en estudiantes universitarios. Para tal efecto, se recurri. al m.todo de revisi.n bibliogr.fica
sistem.tica, utilizando 4 bases de datos bibliogr.ficas (SCOPUS, ScIelo, Redalyc, Google Scholar),
se seleccion. los trabajos correspondientes a los 10 .ltimos a.os, sean estos de tipo emp.rico, te.rico o
experimental, en donde se hable de la relaci.n de las mencionadas variables en el contexto universitario.
Los resultados de los trabajos experimentales muestran una correlaci.n positiva significativa entre la asertividad
y el rendimiento acad.mico; esto concuerda con lo encontrado en los trabajos te.ricos en los que
se sustenta que una .ptima inteligencia emocional y de manera especial, niveles adecuados de asertividad,
promueven una mejor adaptaci.n a las diferentes exigencias que se suscitan en la vida universitaria y que
por lo tanto, resultan en un buen factor predictor de .xito acad.mico o rendimiento.
